Installation & User Manual 

Step 1 – Installing the suction mount.
 

The suction mount allows you to install your iPhone 3, 3GS or 4 inside your car without using any glue or screws and without damaging the interior of your car.
 

To attach the suction mount to the windscreen the area of application must be smooth and flat.

Clean the surface thoroughly with a glass cleaner and a clean towel before applying the suction mount.

If the ambient temperature is below 15°C (80°F), warm the area of application and the suction cup itself with a hair dryer to ensure a strong suction onto the surface.

Press the suction cup firmly onto the desired position and push the locking lever arm towards the suction cup to create a vacuum between suction cup and surface.

Check to make sure that the suction mount has been securely installed.

Periodically check that the suction cup is firmly attached, especially in climates of extreme temperature changes.

To remove the mount from a surface, flip the locking lever arm back and pull the vacuum strap, located on suction cup’s outer edge to release the vacuum and ensure that the suction cup will not be damaged.

Never leave the suction mount inside the vehicle in direct sunlight or in excessive heat.

The mounting device and suction cup may be damaged and adhesion may be impaired if the inside temperature exceeds 80°C (180°F).
 

Step 2 – Cabling, attaching the holder to the mount and dismantling the car charger.
 

Cable the wire route as required, and tie-up with tape, then mount it in place.

(NB: Both the car charger and holder can be used separately as required.)
 

To attach the holder to the mount the four prongs of the mount need to be placed out of the centre.

The shorter distance of the prongs to the outer shape must be on the upper part.

Insert the 4-prong-system of the mount into the 4-hole-system of the holder.

To engage both systems, press the 4-prong adapter upwards until you notice a click.

To remove the holder from the mount, press the 4-prong-adapter downwards.
 

To dismantle the car charger take off the charger cable from behind the holder of the mounting duct.

Open up the rear cover of the holder and take out the charger cable, and then close the lid back into place.

Please make sure that you place the car charger 30 pin socket with its face printed ＂     ＂ symbol facing forward when in installing, or else your iPhone will fail to insert into the 30 pin socket.
 

Step 3 – Connecting.
 

After you have started your car plug the charger into cigarette lighter socket; then insert your iPhone into holder.

Pull off the charger before turning off the engine.
 

Step 4 – Using.

The applicable direction or angle (horizontally or vertically) can be adjusted according to the various functions your iPhone provides.
